Tony has been practicing in the fields of real estate, investments, mortgages, tax and financial
planning since 1982. He holds the distinct professional designations of Certified Financial
Planner (CFP), which he obtained from the College of Financial Planning in Denver; Registered
Financial Planner (RFP), granted from the International Association of Registered Financial
Planners in El Paso; and Registered Financial Consultant (RFC), granted by the International
Association of Registered Financial Consultants, in Chesterfield, MO. He is also a practicing
Tax Accountant specializing in the area of federal income tax and the taxation of real estate.
In addition he has earned the ATP (Accredited Tax Preparer) and ATA (Accredited Tax Advisor)
credentials from the Accreditation Council for Accountancy and Federal Taxation. ACAT was
established in 1973 as an independent non-profit organization seeking to identify specialists
in accountancy and federal taxation. ACAT is affiliated with the National Society of Accountants
in Alexandria, VA and the National Endowment for Financial Education (NEFE) in Denver.
Furthermore, Tony has earned the Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager Designation (CRB).
The CRB designation is the highest award real estate brokerage managers can receive. It is
recognized industry-wide as the symbol of excellence in brokerage management. According
to the Real Estate Brokerage Management Council, the most successful brokerages are owned
or managed by professionals having the coveted CRB designation. He has also earned the
Certified Residential Specialist (CRS). The Certified Residential Specialist is the highest
designation awarded to sales associates in the residential sales field and recognizes
professional accomplishments in both experience and education. As well as having an
extensive background in real estate, taxation, and financial planning, he holds his Real Estate
Brokers, Securities, and Insurance Licenses. His advice and articles on various real estate, tax
and mortgage topics have been printed and quoted in the Marin Independent Journal and Novato
Advance newspapers.
